I am always amazed at the great variety of chassis at this race. Even an Ursaner!

Cheers

An FYI - I watched off and on as Jim Lane built his first anglewinder, of his own design no less, on Thursday. On Friday he qualified for the C main. It took me 4 days at home to build mine from a Warmack kit. Some people just have "it" - amazing. I got to test all day Wed and a lot of Thursday. On top of that he was really quick. If he had had time for more testing I think his results would have been even better.

A "Special Thanks" to Dennis "Foamy" Hill for building a GREAT coupe car for this race!! I was able to TQ with it but Duran is just SO smooth--a little better racer luck and I could have had something for him!! Still, a very FUN race and congrats to Bryan Warmack for running a ballistic "inline" car in the race!!

She's real fine, my 409!!!

Driver skill is a huge component of why I like the flat track. Pretty sure Duran could take my slow car and bump it up to the next main, and shave a tenth on lap time.  Its a  gift and I'm envious !!  :D

Jeff is a great guy, good attitude and I usually get to race with him in the lower mains at BP's major events.
