Is there anyone out there willing to make Wonder Rubber tires for 3/32 axles in 1.1" diameters?? I think there would be a market for these with Hardbody racing and drag racing!! I"d LOVE to be able to buy some 1.1" Wonder for my Hardbody racing program!! I'm just one racer, but I'd buy 15 sets to start and I think a LOT of the BPR regular Hardbody racers would be very interested. I think we could get Debby at BPR to stock them for us!!

Anyone manufacturers out there interested in a new market??
She's real fine, my 409!!!

I would be interested as well, but just for the donuts There are other hardbody racers spread out all over the country. Would need to fit over large hubs.

Call Doug Bauer at Port Jeff, he makes tires along with Skinner. They might be interested in doing a run of big Thunder rubber tires. Worth a call. They don't sell donuts though.

B&E makes large Wonder rubber wheels/tires for Hardbody racing. Available through Mike Swiss's Chicagoland Raceway. They work great on Hardbodies and vintage cars!

SO FAR, the B&E use rims similar to ProTrack only in 1/8 axle, but if enough of a interest is there the 3/32 axle wheels could happen.  Donuts and finished 1/8 axle tires are available NOW.  B & E Slotsports

Larry,

I already queried Brian last night about 3/32" rears.

No interest by him at the moment.

http://slotblog.net/...r-rubber-tires/

This is a case of why not to pose the same question twice.

Answers in 2 different threads.

As far as donuts, Brian said he would be willing to sell some separate, when he gets his next shipment in.

He's a bit tight right now.

Good idea to at least try the rubber.

They work great rim width on the Hot Rod class you ran on the flat rack. Just enough slide factor!

I think Tim was looking for a 1.1 dia. The inner dia is too small if you are using scale rims as well.

You can easily push a .950 OD tire to 1.1 with the right wheel size.

You should probably let them rest a few days between gluing and truing.

Not sure if you could (and get it to clean up) or if it would be a good idea. JMO.

Anyone who wants to try it, go for it.

I have the ones in the below pic.

1/8" axle, but I think you could sleeve them and true them up.

They are approx 1.110"+ OD.

Rim ID - approx. .600"

Rim width - approx. .540".

Foot print - .approx. .700".
