For the few fellow racers who might read this post, a word of advice. Due to the unique nature of this track, be sure that you have 0.050" clearance under the front of the chassis AND the body. This clearance rule is checked on a flat tech block and the braid must be flat against the guide flag. This rule will be strictly enforced. I hope that we all have some good racing and fun on Saturday.

I want to say thank you to Greg Walker for hosting the 2nd MySeries race, and a thank you to Phillip for being the race director. (Being a race director is a thankless job, as is doing the race results and driver points.) MySeries had a very good turnout at Holly Hill; a total of 55 entries.  In part, this is due to a new system we are trying this year. We are eliminating qualifying and dividing the field into the more experienced drivers (Group 1) and the beginners & novice drivers (Group 2).  Race results will be posted in the next couple days. I have to go back to the races which were run at Melbourne and separate out the two groups. I hope to post the Melbourne race results tomorrow. MySeries will be giving out plaques for each driver group, hopefully making up for Melbourne and Holly Hill in the process before the next MySeries race.

Great turn out.

Another item that we discussed after the racing was over was that the racing was better with less crashing; less chaotic. All in all, yesterdays racing was definately better by splitting the drivers into Group 1 and Group 2.
