My name is Dave Graboski from Long Island, NY. I am a professional graphic designer in the vehicle wrap industry. I have been dabbling with the idea of slot car controller wraps. I wrapped my own and a few others completely in digitally printed vinyl but its a ton of work and not everyone can do it themselves.

The answer is "Controller Skins." These are digitally printed, laminated, and machine-cut in a six-piece kit. This makes things a lot easier for the end user. I am offering these for the Parma/Difalco as well as the Red Fox controller handles. In time, I will have all of the manufacturers' handle skins available.

I do not have list of designs, these are all custom, not one is alike. Tell me what you want, and I'll design it. You can request names, nicknames, sponsors, logos, etc. Please limit two per side. I can use photos, as well as tribal art, flames, drips, spikes, in any color with fades, gradients, etc., etc. The possibilities are endless. Please do not be afraid to ask for sonething wild. The only thing I can't do is flourescents and metallic.

My current pricing is $30 shipped within the USA. Below are quite a few samples of my work. Please make sure to show off your assembled skinned controllers with-in this thread.

Thank you all for the support, and I look forward to working with you.

How will they hold up? And over time will they stay stuck around the tight bends?

Should be good to go. This is Avery brand vinyl... With a primer/adhesion promoter applied to all extreme contours. This isn't going to see extreme hots or extreme colds like vehicles do.

Interesting, but I'm not a fan of flames especially around electrical devices. Bad juju. Do you have any other patterns?

Very cool. Was just curious how it would hold to the curves over time as I know on my race cars on tight corners over time it'll come loose, but they also get dealt with with dirt, rocks, and power washing. LOL.

Maybe a walnut woodgrain with checkering ALA a gun stock?

I'm about to build a Difalco kit and would be pleased to try out one of your wraps. Just give me an idea of the price and availability.

Or, sticking with the old school theme, how about some lace panels?

When you decide on price and how long it takes, let me know .I would be interested in offering them as an option. I am using the JK handle for my controllers now.

Thank you all for your interest and patience. I've decided to offer "skins" instead of wraps. The kits will include six Individual machine-cut pieces instead of a full wrap. I am confident everyone will be able to easily install these themselves.

Stay tuned.

No chance of picking up the wrong controller anymore! These are way, way cool!

Sorry about the nerf. "Sorry? Sorry? There's no apologizing in slot car racing!"

Besides, where would I even begin?   I should probably start with my wife ...

"I don't often get very many "fast laps" but I very often get many laps quickly."

The only thing I know about slot cars is if I had a good time when I leave the building! I can count the times I didn't on one two three hands!
