This isn't what is seems to be...
This is footage from John Frankenheimer's Grand Prix, using F3 cars dressed up to simulate actual F1 cars, filmed from a GT40 being driven (usually) by Phil Hill.
Still, it's a neat piece of video with great sound. And the Monaco GP circuit looks a lot different today.

Not only that, Tony, but one of the most important movies ever made from a movie-making perspective. Frankenheimer created film techniques for it that had never been done before.
