Once again the hotels in the area are still unwilling to do anything more than token discounts due to high corporate bookings and very low vacancy. You can most likely score a better rate with AAA or AARP and several other discount programs since the home office has already negotiated those discounts. I even contacted The Greater Columbus Convention And Visitors Bureau for advice and they told me that Columbus has one of the lowest vacancy rates in the nation. Great for them but bad for us. I guess  March is becoming very popular in Columbus for conventions/training meetings, etc. 

I have attached a list with map of the hotels in the area.
