Race number one is in the books for the 2016 OSS season and it was not one that will soon be forgotten. If you missed it, you missed a good one. I've seen all the pictures and heard the hype about SlotCars-R-Us but that does this place no justice. Truly an amazing facility that been assembled by a true racer. No details spared, if you get a chance you need to check this place out.
Many thanks to Tracy for having us, he helped keep the day running smoothly, the parts counter was well stocked as well as the snack bar which had fresh Domino's pizza all weekend. The G21 was fast as promised and we had lots of close racing all day long. Racers from eight states showed up to White House,TN, to do battle and it shaked out like this...
The podium was a Tennessee sweep as the experienced local racers took the top spots. Andrew Ford took the win setting a new track record during qualifying with a 3.684 and also picked up the win with an impressive 365 laps turned.
