Bobby ran safely at the rear most of tonites race. Figured he was just waiting for the "big one" with about 10 to go and he was be able to stay clear and then race for the win. They had the big one and he stayed clear, but was never in position to make a run for the front. Possible he was under-powered and knew it and was just trying for a good finish. I think he did come in 17th and hopefully it is enough paycheck to make up for the expenses of the ARCA race.

Today's TV talking heads said Bobby made 12th in the Truck race and the series website confirms that. Not bad at all.
Right now, in early qualifying, Bobby is on the pole, with 50.69 secs, but that won't last. FS1 tapped Gerhart's radio so they had a snippet of Billy being pretty excited about the time. Nice that someone ID'd the voice as Billy's. Good journalism.

Pic that was posted at Facebook of Billy working on the big cars yesterday at Pocono. Too nice not to share.
Was able to watch some of the race yesterday while babysitting my young grandson. Bobby ran hard to end up sixteenth.
