This car was built by Rick Thigpen AKA dc-65x. Rick and I worked on the details together. The full project is in this THREAD.
 
I worked with the car and got it down to a 5.46 which is pretty fast for one of these. I ran it first on 9v and sorted out the handling and then went to 12v. It had too much power so a little choke made it just right.

I'ts very interesting to see what these cars will do on modern tires on a modern track.
