We've just started allowing these at our track and find them less chattery but a little more fragile than the precious three-piece unit.
Anyone else out there in cyber-slotland racing these regularly? Liking them?
Why are the pans so soft?

We have been racing the JK Indy for over 10 years on a150 ft. four-lane club track. When the new JK Cheetah 21 #251171 came out they were not allowed, but after some testing we found that the new chassis didn't seem to have anything over the older chassis #25117. If it had been faster that would have caused our racers to buy new cars to be competitive but since we found little difference between the two, now both are allowed.

Where are they bending? FYI the ...171 is the narrow pan indy and the ...172 is the wide pan indy. Both share the same center section. I can see where they might bend at the narrow point of the front of the outer pan. They stainless pans seem sturdy enough, but the aluminum is always fragile.

I can see the center section bending easily, where it narrows, just in front of the motor. Do you allow bracing there?
