When I see that, I can only think of Dire Straits Money for nothin'.

I shoulda learned to play the guitar
I shoulda learned to play them drums
Look at that mama she got it stickin' in the camera
Man we could have some fun

Well, I didn't learn drums, guitars, or anything else...
So my Lola is 1/24 scale. :to_become_senile:

I knew he had a Lola. Did not realize it was the Russkit one.

Read today he is losing his hearing. Now we know why.

The memory is kinda blurry, but I think Brian Johnson has some sort of interest in slot cars. Anybody know?

AC/DC was supposed to pay a sold-out concert in Atlanta tonight, but it has been canceled, as have the remaining nine dates on their US tour.

Many of the long-time rock and rollers who play/played in bands that loved high volume have hearing problems. Pete Townsend of The Who is profoundly deaf now.

My son (a drummer) meet the group at the hotel where he was working. They were all very accommodating. Really good people.

If the rockers don't go completely deaf they have constant ringing in their ears (tinnitus). Thankfully, I stopped going to concerts after many of the artists ended up dead within six months! Mama Cass, Hendrix, Keith Moon, Harry Chapin, etc. Thought I was a jinx.

On the subject of Russkit bodies, Tom Anderson had a nice selection. Anyone have any recent info on Tom? The site I used to order from no longer works.

If you are referring to Tom Andersen, the answer is, no. People have tried.

Off topic but since y'all are music lovers of a certain era... ahem - I just returned from the first Flower Power Cruise with 60's musicians and their various replacements. I've booked 2017  already because of all the fun. 2/27/17 to 3/4/17  visiting Falmouth, Jamaica and Nassau, Bahamas. Here is the list of musicians so far for next year:

Eric Burdon and The Animals, Chad & Jeremy, Micky Dolenz - The Monkees Lead Singer (and celebrity cruise host), The 5th Dimension, The Lovin' Spoonful, Rare Earth, Spencer Davis, Three Dog Night and The Yardbirds..

If you're into crusin look into it. I have no connection whatsoever with anything about this cruise except I'm going on it.

It's not off topic :good: and it sounds like it will be a really cool cruise.

Please give us all the details when you return.

Of all those bands, Rare Earth is my favorite :)
