Downriver Raceway in Lincoln Park, MI, hosted a Retro race on Saturday, March 5.
 
The 155' Grandstand Hillclimb track was prepped by JB and Bob Foster and was ready to go.
 
We had 24 Can-Am entries, and 16 cars for F1.
 
Can-Am was divided into three mains and F1 was divided into two mains, based on qualifying times (no move ups).
 
TQ - Can-Am - Ron Hershman - 4.80
TQ - F1 - Bob Foster – 5.08
 
As expected, the racing was fast and competitive.
 
Can-Am winners:
A Main - Ron Hershman - 267 laps
B Main - Dave DeCoster - 250 laps
C Main - Mark Miller - 226 laps
 
F1 winners:
A Main - Bud Bartos - 258 Laps
B Main - Paul Pelletier - 241 Laps
