I have one of these, thought it might be scratchbuilt but mine is exactly like this one.

Joe,

Both Cobra and Phaze III sold this chassis. There is a matching F1 chassis, too. The F1 frequently shows up on eBay.

Thanks, guys.

Any idea of the approximate years these were sold?

Yes, I believe it is the same. Your Car Model add also shows the F1 chassis, which frequently shows up on eBay.

I clicked on the link in the first post and what a pile .That body has no resemblance to a Lola T70 and it is certainly not a Dynamic handling body .He seems to have acquired an empty box to make it look real .Too bad , I love the T70 would look good beside my M6 .

I believe the blue body in the auction was a Honker.

First, let me say I have nothing to do with that auction and I don't know that person. Only using the pic for ID.

Thanks for the info and the ID pics as well. I appreciate it.

And if Howie and Sandy say so it must be the best :)

Don't worry, Joe, anybody who actually read your post knows that isn't your auction. :friends:

I knew i had one of the handling bodies laying around some where but I thought it was a Maclaren M6 .We are in the process of finishing our basement and along with that I am making a little area for my slot cars .So I found my in the box handling body and turns out it is a Chapparal 2H .I did have an M6 that I built and raced for a while but it is toast .I also found a Betta bodies scale version and it is striking how much bigger it is .Dont know how well the pics will come out IMG_5009.JPG IMG_5010.JPG IMG_5011.JPG IMG_5012.JPG but lets see anyways :

My brother had one of the Cobra frames with a Mura Magnum 1000 motor. A bit surprising it was the fastest Sports Car at our local track for a couple months, beating nice scratch-built frames.

Probably September of 1968 the car's reign was short, the just discovered angle-winders were much faster.

That may have been the best factory frame produced. It was better than the Champion frame.
