What's the latest status on this website? The domain seems to be parked but you can still access most of the pages by directly linking to them. Has anybody reached out to Greg Holland about saving this material?

There really is a good reason to have a hard copy - even DVD's... Master file, sell copies. Appropriate technology does not need to be the latest technology.

Last I heard from him was five or six years ago, when he was selling off some of his cars, and was still semi-active on the site.
My timeline may be way off too, that's just an approximate memory!

I have sent him an email but have not heard back from him. I don't think he has done anything on that site in eight years and if you Google the site the domain has been parked.

I had a problem accessing the site six months ago. I got a new URL from Pablo and it's worked ever since.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

Bill,
Does that URL still work today?

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

But try typing in just the domain: http://www.vsrnonline.com
Just saying ... Maybe he just needs to add a index.htm at the root and isn't really aware. I guess it's ok, either way I have most of the content.

Thanks, Tim, As I said before this is a very valuable resource. I hope I didn't step on any toes.

Can 3D layout plans be used for the new 3D printing in order to make body molds?

It would be a tragedy if we lost this resource! Dennis, are you now in discussions with Greg about a way forward, or are you just reporting on the current status?

I understand he has backups but the site is no longer under his control so the provider could delete it at any time.
Unless he desides to release the content that's basically it.

The site has gone... expired.
Dennis, any ideas on salvaging some of the info?

Model Cars Magazine (UK)
For those of you who are not aware of the VSRN plans, they are a collection of plans that appeared in Model Maker and Model Maker & Model Cars Magazines (UK).
The original site that hosted them has expired.
The link provided here is from "The Wayback Machine" sight.
I have no idea how long they will remain available, so I recommend you download all that you are interested in.[

It will take me a few weeks to assemble the database from my downloads, cross-check it against the original VSRN pages, and then create the website pages (the easy part).
I will keep the community informed of progress via this thread and, no doubt, ask for your support and collaboration!
