March's D3 Hardbody racing at Buena Park Raceway saw another total lap record set as well as some newcomers to BPR hardbody racing.
Gonzo (Hector Gonzalez) set another new total lap record, this time for the GTP class with 261 laps. He also set another record during the race on the red lane with 32 laps and 5.60 lap on red.
Gonzo's Mercedes C9 GTP was easily faster than the other GTPs today.
Two racers from Arizona (TJ Albu, Mark McVittie) ran their first D3 hardbody races at BPR. They both did very well for their first hardbody race on the BPR MTT track.
Jay Henry drove his "snaptite" Enzo Ferrari to a win. Ken Dylke again won with his '70 Road Runner. Dave Cantwell earned his first hardbody podium.
All in all, a good day of D3 hardbody racing at BPR with a very good turnout of racers.
Thanks to Debby and Jim Watterson (and Eddie) for their support of D3 Hardbody racing at Buena Park Raceway.
Thanks to our race directors, Victor Dubrowsky, Tim Neja and Keith Tanaka.
