This a 1965 Classic Astro V slot car. My dad bought this when he was kid. It has been in his basement since the '70s. The body was quite yellowed. The chassis was in not so good shape... brass parts tarnished. I stripped it... tumbled it. Freshened up the motor and bought a reproduction body from Australia. I made all new stickers for it, too. Tomorrow is his birthday so I am giving it back to him. He has no idea!!!

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap
