Nature has opened up for Easter: this is a Passion flower.

I have one of those growing on the fence at work,always wondered what it was........Looks like a plastic flower in person.....Nature does some wonderful things..... :yahoo:

Gary... it is a Passion Fruit Vine and they are weeds.  :) (not really)...

 

I keep this one going because it helps to keep the fence upright.... lol.... but they grow *everywhere* and I'm always yanking them out. Maybe that's a sin (j/k) but I'd be over grown with them in a couple of years...

 

You should be getting a small soft fuzzy orange colored fruit from your plant. I'm told they're edible but have never tried one.

 

The flower is supposed to tell the story of Jesus Christ's crucifixion....
