RetroPalooza 7 Schedule.  All races on the King.
 
Wednesday, June 1 - Raceway will be open from 1 PM until 10 PM, pit pass $10.

Thursday, June 2 - Raceway will be open at 7 AM, pit pass $10.

  • Timed Practice will be set-up on the track.
  •  3 PM - Tech opens for Can-Am Plus . Entry fee $20.
  • Tech for Retro Pro opens 1 Hour after Can-Am Plus A Main. Entry fee $20

 

Friday, June 3 - Raceway will be open at 7 AM.

GTC-FK and GTC-Pro Classes – All with Qualifying and then Laps & Sections

  • 8 AM - GTC FK and GTC-Pro  hand-out motors distributed  (JK Hawk Retro motors).
  • Entry fee $30 and includes one motor. A second motor may be purchased for $10. A 3r4d motor will be made available once everyone has a chance to get 2.
  • GTC-FK Practice from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM  - Timed Practice
  • Tech for GTC-FK opens at 10 AM
  • GTC-Pro Practice from  9:30 until 10:30 AM – Timed Practice
  • GTC-Pro Tech at 10:30 AM
  • GTC-FK Qualifying at 10:30 AM
  • GTC-FK Mains run - Winner of the of the GTC-FK main will get free entry into the GTC-Pro race.
  • GTC-Pro Qualifying 15 minutes after GTC-FK A Main. 


Stock Car Class – All with Qualifying and then Laps & Sections

  • Stock Car Tech will open 1 hour after GTC-Pro A Main – Entry Fee $20
  • Timed practice
     

Saturday, June 4 - Raceway will be open at 7 AM.

Can-Am Class

  • Timed Practice will be set-up on the track
  • Entry fee $20
  • Can-Am Tech will open at 10 AM
  • Qualifying and move-ups

 

Sunday, June 5 - Raceway will be open at 7 AM.

Formula 1 Class

  • Timed Practice will be set-up on the track
  • Entry Fee $20
  • Formula 1 Tech at 10 AM
  • Qualifying and move-ups

For those of you not familiar with what Timed Practice is here is an explanation.  It is the same system used at the R4 to accommodate a large group of racers.

 

Lines will form on both sides of the track. 

One group will run the Red Set (Red, Green, Blue, Purple).  The other will run the Black Set (Black, Yellow, Orange, White).

You will get 3 minutes on and then 30 seconds for lane change.

 

Those waiting will marshal. 

Those waiting for Red Set will start marshaling the 90, donut, lead on. 

Those waiting for the Black Set will start marshaling the finger and deadman.

 

It is a time proven way and really works great.
