[Slot Car Mods Magazine]

Our club GETCARS {Greater Edmonton Toy Car and Racing Society} has a new series starting May 5, 2016, and that's Group 5 by Racer-Sideways...
I chose the white kit to start with as I like to paint my own liveries...  So here are a few pics of the finished car that debuted at our Group 5 test
and tune last night...
 
The colour is a Model Master Champagne Gold Metallic base with Plum Crazy Metallic lower body, and an accent stripe of 1-Shot 149-L Aqua
applied with a Kafka 5/0 brush...  It was topcoated with a polyurethane clear...
 

 
Dry brushing with silver was applied to the front grille area as well as the lower area of the rear end to bring out the details...
 

 
Dry brushing with Black was applied to the drivers suit to give it that greasy/dirty look and a shifter was installed with a leather-look knob...

It was a fun one to create, and three races in at our clubs series, it's running third...

 

It's a Racer/Sideways chassis with a motor brace, but basically stock...
