Body, I changed the wheel arches with a dremel and I distorted by one, by one, the body with the failure of a soldering iron.
On the body, I then traced and drilled on each side, 4x 1 mm diameter holes, to hold the frame with 4 small nails
The interior of the car was made with parts of models in unused plastics kit.
I built aluminum rims and mount inserts another kit.
Body paint, I filed a sailing primer and painted the body and the inserts with dark red color, I then masked and painted white on the flag to complete a re-masking + blue paint on the rest.
I then sanded locally, paint and decals to finish with a rust effect paint.
The bumper was partially chrome and apparent plastic was painted aluminum gray
With a motor change to H&R's 18,000 RPM Hawk, that car would be legal at the local club track I sometimes race at. I'll have to seek one of those '57 Chevy bodies for my own use.
