I'm a track owner from Essex in England (Essex east of London).

The nearest class of cars I can find in the states Open Wheeled Modifieds. If you like those, you'll love these...
 
We run 1/32 cars on a 1/4 mile oval, with one straight 'chicaned', so that there is the possibility of contact.
