Just got this in mail this morning. Picked it up on Ebay Some here might have seen this. I just had to add to stash. I like these ugly ducklings and I am sure more of these cars ran on local tracks than the really nice magazine cars of the proffessionals. In no way knocking those cars in any way I wish I had more of them also. Its got time issues but going in display case as is.

James, Very cool

DON'T TOUCH IT :)

Looks like a two pounder :laugh2:

I would run it just to see if it will go under two seconds.

Thanks for the compliments on her :I really like it.  A friend has a scale 1/4 strip in his basement along with a nice 4 lane oval. I am going to take the beast next Tuesday to his drag night to see what it runs.  it could weigh two pounds!! :D Yep, this stays as is

Is that wire or solder wrapped around the front axle?

It is wire wrapped around front axle. It also has some lead wrapped around tubing behind axle and some on the pick up arm. That ktm motor must have had some torque for him or her to weight it down so much. Paul, sorry to have snagged it out from underneath you. At least it was going to end up here with someone in blog. I looked at it, saved to watch list and a minute latter went  back and hit the buy it now price they had. A friend here in Omaha already tried to obtain it tonight.
