Did some dragging with some vintage cars last night at Slots.

The bodies and tires are full of the shutdown gook.

What is the best way to remove said "gook" without damaging anything else?

Lighter fluid/naphtha would be my answer.

I use rubbing alcohol but it can attack some paints especially if its really strong.

I'm pretty sure you could use mineral oil or baby oil. Maybe we could call the place Snots-A-Lot.
