[Gary Bluestone]

I found these figures at a show many years ago, glued to the bleachers. I knew they were different from any I had seen. I pried some off to repaint them, and recently decided to determine who made these and what else was made. They were made by Bachmann as Plasticville O guage Road Race Accessories probably in 1962 or 63 when they were advertising their grandstands and other items. These were known as sitting people and although they claimed to supply 22 people, only 10 figures and 1 couple were made and 2 of each were supplied in the box. Also some kind of paint was supplied. There was a pallet of colours and a bottle of solvent and a brush. Some of the figures still have this original paint.
