Did anyone notice whose body (and car) Jack Beers ran? First car in this thread. During practice on Friday I hear the Chicago guys ask... "anyone got a spare F1?" I say, yup... hand over a car with a chassis I built in a car that I use for practice and lend out to guys to run. Joe Mig ran it here on the East Coast in our last race.
Anyway, Jack is a very, very good body painter and we shared tips, etc., during the weekend both at the race and back at the "Ken Swanson Thrashing Slot Car Emporium", better known as the Econo Lodge. It is pretty ironic that here is Jack running my car and a Noose body and taking 3rd in F1 concours!
Jack is a great guy and he is very talented, especially in detailing cars. He has a trademark I discovered when he does interiors but that is a trade secret.

My cars were not slow. Did you see how fast my "A" car was going when it hit the wall on Saturday morning?
Cheers,
Ken

I don't always go the extra mile, but when I do it's because I missed my exit.
All my life I've strived to keep from becoming a millionaire, so far I've succeeded.
There are three kinds of people in the world, those that are good at math and those that aren't.
No matter how big of a hammer you use, you can't pound common sense into stupid people, believe me, I've tried.

I've seen you drive. The car was definitely better than you thought!
