Check works for me, I just didnt see any other way to purchase tickets mentioned other than at the race or online via PayPal.
Now next question... where and to whom should the check be made? Thanks for the info.

Well, so far we have 9 people who have bought tickets online. If you do buy tickets, your odds are pretty good right now. Some great prizes and of course a very worthy cause. Jim Williams does an awful lot to promote slot car racing, especially with kids...he's an extremely entertaining race director, and it's fun just watching the kid's races at his place. You get to help out his family and maybe end up with a nice prize.

So true John! Now, we have the car, Jersey John frame, the dyno from Barry Rosenberger, the Noose painted body and a collectors dream which has been donated by Brian Cochrane,
.I was visiting Brian a while back and he showed me a bunch of cars from his collection. I remember admiring the red one on the left. It belonged to a friend of Brian's named Richie Brown, a Team Russkit member. Believe the car is from around 1970. A little bit of slot car history right there.

That red car on the left appears to have a Cobra brass/wire chassis.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

Believe it was a Richie Brown build but it does have a Cobra drop arm. The F-1 car in the middle is a scratch build by a local here on LI. Well made with a dropped front axle. Hard to see in pic but it has a clear body mounted.

That chassis looks like a Grp 12 chassis from about 1970-1971. Pro cars were much more complicated at that point. I have two nearly identical ones, both production units.

No matter what the pedigree of that chassis, that is an awesome vintage package, and that was super nice of Brian to donate it to the cause.
