I purchased two pair of Wonder donuts and 2 pair of Supernatural donuts.  After mounting and putting on and off different cars I don't know which is what?  I saw where someone said the Supernaturals are softer than the Wonder but I don't have a durometer.  I can tell the Piranha/JK Fish rubber easily enough from the Wonder/SNats.

Any way to tell the difference?

Mark

Weigh them.

I'm not super familiar with Supernaturals, but Wonder is typically your heaviest slot car tire.

The Wonders should be noticeable harder, you should be able to tell just by squeezing them.

Great info.  I will weigh and squeeze after work.

I assume I have standard Wonder and not Soft Wonder.  The Eagle Dist. product code I purchased was ALDONUT and is the only Wonder Donut they carry except for the Wonder Donut Small ID ALDONUTSD.

Thanks

Mark

The Super Natural tires are SBR rubber. It will feel soft, but you won't get much grip out of it.

I've had some SN in my box for 5 years, never found a track they worked on, finally bit the bullet and threw them out.

Well I think I have Super Nats vs Wonder sorted.  I also trimmed both on my Hudy and if I guessed correctly the Super Nats were easier to reduce in size.

Of course Wonder Rubber is much harder to trim; it takes longer and requires more patience, than softer rubber.

But I'm scratching my head :scratch_one-s_head: trying to figure out your sequence of events.

In your OP, you bought donuts and had a problem: "mounting and putting on and off different cars I don't know which is what?"

Then 2 days later, you "trimmed both on my Hudy" and deduced "the Super Nats were easier to reduce in size".  :dash2:

Super natural is easy to trim, cuts fast, wonder rubber  is harder to trim and will smoke if you push it too fast into the sand paper. and  the color is lite Green

1.  I mounted 2 pair of each and one pair each were trimmed to the same size for testing the others went back in the Eagle Dist. bags and into large tubes.

2  Played with trimmed tires on various cars and a week later I didn't know which one was which when I went back to the track.

3  When I went to compare the trimmed to the untrimmed I noticed that the wonder donut bag was priced $2.50 a pair and the Super Nats were listed $4.36. i.e. backwards.

4  I posted on Slotblog asking for help (See post 1)

5  I used the information from Slotblog to figure out which is what.

6. Trimmed the second pair of each tire type today.

7  I posted on Slotblog (See post 11)

8  You got confused (and the thought of a confused Pablo made me sad)

9  I posted on Slotblog (See this post)

10 Hopefully Pablo will no longer be confused and I can be happy again

If you don't already know the answer to the question, then how are you going to know if you getting  the rite answer back?

Blue used to be a very popular tire color. I got a couple pair of Alpha blue donuts in my cellar fridge, but they aren't Piranhas, they're SBR rubber.

I think that there is a jar with some blue donuts in it, down at our raceway :)
