Nice illustrations, John.

The only thing I'll add is another good indicator if you have to remove guide washers is stopping the car quickly in front of you at the drivers panel, and checking to see if the front tires keep rotating.

Tip. What I do is put a white stripe on the sidewall of the fronts so I can easily see what Mike is talking about.

How do you do it with no front wheels? Raise the flag until the front starts picking up stuff?

Bumpy track, run more up angle. Red Fox guides have some angle built in. So if you set up with a standard guide and go to a really bumpy track you can just switch guides to get a little more angle.
