Take a bunch of fresh cut green beans (french cut is best) and simmer.
Take 4 four pieces of bacon and cook until done.
Cut the pieces of bacon into small bits and add to the beans.
Take a couple of spoonfuls of bacon fat (from the frying pan) and add to the beans and bacon.
Simmer for another 5 minutes.
Drain the juice and add salt and pepper to taste.
