F1 Qualifying Duran TQ and the only one in the 3's with everyone close behind. Great run Max Bowers to secure an A Main sit out!

A Main results Duran ran a steady race and came out a comfortable winner! Bill also ran a steady race with a great drive to 2nd with Bryan coming home 3rd.

Another Summer Western Classic is in the books and the SCRRA would like to thank all the racers who attended and made it such a great weekend!

The next major SCRRA race weekend will be the Boola Bash at the end of October and will feature Retro Pro, The Nascar Enduro that worked out so great last year, as well as the usual Formula One and Can Am, all on the King track. More details to follow shortly.
The next monthly race will be the regularly scheduled F1 and Can Am on the Flat track on August 13. See you there!

Thanks Bryan for all the work you do at all these races, the big ones and the monthlys.. Gotta be tiring. See you guys on the 13th. Looks like I'll be trying my hand on the King pretty soon. Charlie is building me a Can-Am. We'll see if my nerves can handle the King. Again, congrats to all the podium folks at the SWC.

Thanks Tim!! And yes, just an awesome drive from Marc Franco in the B Main. I was sweating bullets just to stay ahead of him for a move up spot to the A. Great run Marc!

At least I know someone is watching the race reports closely!! In Duran's TQ pic his race car was at the tech table and he just grabbed another car in his box for the photo. Hope you can make it back for next years Checkpoint!

Bryan, you have no idea how it hurt to miss the SWC. That's why I'm studying the cars so closely! I'm on my way back health wise and will get back on my race schedule soon. Sano next, but Ck Pt is definitely a must do in 17.
