This item, posted on March 16 at Petrolicious, one of the better automotive sites on the web, is short on text and thus is primarily a photoessay, but it's worth a look.

Of course, for a lot of the members here, slot cars are still the perfect Friday (Saturday, Sunday...) night!

Not sure if it had anything to do with it, but Friday nights were the busiest at the tracks in SoCal. They would be full of sailorsand a few airmen from "the Palms."
