I want to give a big thanks to Eddie Cordle at Cordle Model Speedway for allowing us to come race for the day. With multiple other races going on in the region we had a light turnout, but that didnt stop everyone from having a good day. We had 9 different racers, and a big congrats to James Johnson and Roy Hogan for making all three podiums. Local racer Roy will turn 80 years old in a few weeks! Danny Richards definitely gets the hard luck award on the day, he was fast enough to win all three races but caught a few bad breaks.The track was in good shape and the food was fresh off the grill. He did a fantastic job working the parts counter and race directing all day, as always.
Once again we had race prizes donated by Angry Turtle Slot Car Products.No one went home empty handed.
I hope to see everyone at the next one in November at Flashbacks.
