The track was slick, but so was big bad. He ran an unbelievable 246 on a bad track. Pat and Arthur battled it out. Sam ,Casey and Jack battled it out. Bugman ran smart and stayed on. Thanks King George for helping us out at possibly our last race at SALs.
Sean McCabe 246- Pat Skeggs 240- Arthur Hagendorf 238- Sam LeVitch 231-Casey Politi 230- Jack Deluca 227-Mike Smith 207

Tracks are not being taken care of, and they have little products for us to buy. Wane and Amanda who did our races on Wednesdays did a great job, but there hands are tied. They also wanted to stop the payouts( track money) until they fixed the tracks. We didn't feal we should share the burden of taken our payouts so they can fix there tracks. Maybe we got spoiled? Quick question to you cats out there, do most tracks give out track money( payouts) at there local races. I Know Port Jeff does, what about other tracks?

Im pretty sure Jim at HVR does for the podium guys.

Its a shame that they wont maintain the tracks, they are just shooting themseves in the foot.

Dumb.

The tracks should be their responsibility, hey you don't ask them for free products to maintain your little race cars.
What a shame, and a payout to the top three,I think most places do that.

Speedzone does, based on the number of racers

I think the pay out situation has more to do with the number of racers than with the track repairs being done.

I would suggest something like this:

1-5 racers  no pay out

6-8    "        25% pay out

9-up   "       40% pay out

With the summer behind us the car count will pick up. It's been that way in the slot car business since the very beginning. .

I bumped into Frank last night,he misses racing the hard bodies. He said he'd most likely come back if they a good program.
