Congratulations Tom! I retired on 7/1/2016, so I know what you're feeling right now. Enjoy!

Enjoy! Tom, in a short while, you're going to wonder how you ever found enough time to go to work. I took an early retirement in 1995, retired for good in 2006.

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

I admit I'm a little envious. Though, I thought I couldn't wait to retire and had planned to do so in a little over two years. But, now I'm not sure that I wouldn't get a little bored.
Plus, in two years I still wouldn't be at Medicare age and as a Type 2 Diabetic, the monthly drug bill would be crazy without insurance.

Congratulations, Tom! I'm not too far behind ya(12/31/16); let us know how GOOD it IS!

We all chipped in to buy you a shirt.
Congratulations, Tom, and well deserved! Time to fish, race, play guitar, travel, kick back... it's all good.

Thanks everyone. Might take a wee bit of getting use to, but, I'll manage. Two weeks in Idaho is a pretty good start.
Along time comin'. More time to play my Telecaster's. And that is a plus. One of many hobbies to keep the wheels moving.

Congratulations, Tom! Just try not to do everything the first month. Pace yourself.
We all need to believe in something. I believe I'll have another beer.

Humph! All retiring has done for me is to make me more available to do things that my family members don't have time to do!! And to add to that, they get POed when I say NO! I have to remind them that I'm RETIRED, that means that I'm not doing a damn thing other than what I want to do, not what they "need" for me to do! BTW, congrats to ya, enjoy "your" retirement as much as ya can!

I do plan on pacing myself. As far as people wanting me to do more stuff 'cause I have time. Well, uhh, NO! I'm retired.
My wife wants me to do stuff around the property, no problem. Now, where is that beer and my guitar?

Congrats Tom! Take time in your life now to live it!
