Enjoy! Tom, in a short while, you're going to wonder how you ever found enough time to go to work. :laugh2:  I took an early retirement in 1995, retired for good in 2006.

Congratulations!  Now go enjoy your freedom and your next adventure.

I admit I'm a little envious. Though, I thought I couldn't wait to retire and had planned to do so in a little over two years. But, now I'm not sure that I wouldn't get a little bored.

Plus, in two years I still wouldn't be at Medicare age and as a Type 2 Diabetic, the monthly drug bill would be crazy without insurance.

Thanks everyone. Might take a wee bit of getting use to, but, I'll manage. Two weeks in Idaho is a pretty good start.

Along time comin'. More time to play my Telecaster's. And that is a plus. One of many hobbies to keep the wheels moving.

Congratulations, Tom! Just try not to do everything the first month. Pace yourself. :D

Humph!  All retiring has done for me is to make me more available to do things that my family members don't have time to do!!  And to add to that, they get POed when I say NO!  I have to remind them that I'm RETIRED, that means that I'm not doing a damn thing other than what I want to do, not what they "need" for me to do!  BTW, congrats to ya, enjoy "your" retirement as much as ya can!

I do plan on pacing myself. As far as people wanting me to do more stuff 'cause I have time. Well, uhh, NO! I'm retired.

My wife wants me to do stuff around the property, no problem. Now, where is that beer and my guitar?

A man doesn't need to be reminded about getting something done!! If he says he'll so it – he will!! He doesn't need a reminder every six months!!!
