Another Sano in the books, as usual very close racing, much comradery and only one time the yelling at the driver stand devolved into a polite wing race category.
A big thank you to Jackie Swiss who was her always charming and efficient self in keeping the lunches running smoothly and providing excellent desserts for the unwashed slot racers in attendance. Talking with Jackie is always a highlight of any Sano!
Thanks to all the sponsors for providing prizes and cash donations, Mike or Noose will list them all in a future report I am sure.
Dave Fiedler's sister stopped by and brought some memorabilia of Dave's that made a nice display in his memory. Thanks.
Great that some of the racers from the ISRA race were able to stop by and some to join in for the Can-Am race on Sunday. Always a pleasure to see Gugu even for a short time.
Pics are HERE.
Thanks,
Bill

Ditto all of Bill's comments. Had a fantastic time and it was super close racing as it should be.
Thanks, Bill, for all your help during tech, too! It was great to meet a lot of new people, too!

My third Sano and a very special one honoring everyone's friend Sano Dave. I remember how I felt at last year's race when the announcement of Dave's passing was made. A lump in my throat like I had never experienced before. I looked forward to coming back this year and remembering Dave ever since the dates were announced. Seeing the display of Dave's memorabilia with the body I painted for him among the treasures brought a tear to my eye. Thank you, Dave, for being my friend.
It was great racing with Paul Pfeiffer and Mike Swiss again. Maybe there is still hope for us old wing racers after all.
Thanks, Mike, for putting up with us all weekend, to all the competitors for the great racing. and a big thanks to Noose for the body, can't wait to see it
