It is official. Due to hurricane Matthew, the My Series race at Melbourne is being postponed from Saturday Oct 8 to Saturday Oct 15.

I wish everybody who is in the path of this hurricane the best of luck. See you guys later. (I am packing up most of my slot car stuff.)

Even though the forecast for Saturday is for mostly sunny skies, we had to consider the damage done to the space coast on Thursday and Friday, especially Friday. A cat 4 hurricane will do alot of damage. I hope everybody comes through this OK.

That was a good decision and hopefully everything will be pretty much back to normal by next weekend. If the race does happen next weekend I'll be there for sure.
