Still no actual answers as to why O/S is being banned?

I think the answer has been given many, many times, to the point of absurdity. I don't know why Mike, Noose, and the IRRA® continues to argue with you and other Ron apologists about this. They're letting themselves get put on the defensive when you guys have no valid argument.

That's why they haven't responded, huh? So what's the reason, wise guy? Racers can order direct from Ron as we have to to get a Swiss f1 body or a Dilworth from Noose. Why are some allowed to do this but not others? Answer that, wise guy.

Ron's bodies being available for people to get are what's in question here not how thick or thin they are. I won Retropalooza with an O/S  body Noose passed it?
If raceways and racers can get bodies directly, what's the deal? McMasters chooses to not stock O/S and Noose wont buy 'em either. But they could and they have done so in the past.

A real answer has not been given. Still it's just the runaround. O/S and Chicagoland have the same way of selling bodies. That's a simple fact. And those with issues with Ron will not stock them. He can't force people to buy them. There have been a few on here trying to get resolve. And are in contact with Ron and he is ready to ship. What else can be done? When does the Kool Aid get passed out? I guess I missed that memo.

From Ron on Facebook:

No problem with SpeedZone, Wes P made the order by contacting me two days AFTER the Retro East race at SZ. The next day Mic left a message about the bodies. I didn't call him back as I already had the order from Wes. The SZ order is sitting here ready to ship and once payment arrives the order will ship. :)

The problem isn't about selling direct. It is that shops call and get no response but it seems that the SZ order is ready to be shipped but SZ hasn't paid yet.

So name the other issue you have and let's get them straightened out. Ron isn't allowed in here so maybe you can help us with whom or what tracks need to have this resolved so we can move on

Willy, many raceways prefer to deal with one or two distributors so they can minimize the amount of work to obtain multiple items and reduce shipping costs. That is why many choose not to order direct. Again their business, their choice. They get a bit mad if the distributor does show them in their catalog and/or website and then hear that the distributor cannot get them timely, at all, or ever.

It's amazing how one guy can stir up so much crap, divide the racers into two groups and cause hard feelings amongst the groups. Not good for commercial tracks or slot racing.

Makes me glad I'm now racing 1/32 scale hardbodied cars.

Once again, Noose, their business, their choice... let's stick to the issue of availability not hobby shop who don't want to choose to call or message Ron. Distribution shops are not the issue... otherwise the Chicagoland should never have been made legal.

From Ron via Facebook-

Paypal invoice sent to the OWNER Mike Iles who has always made payment using PayPal. No other arrangements necessary... this HAS BEEN Standard Operating Procedure with SpeedZone for many years now.

It's not the person, Butch, it's the company remember? I just want to run the body that I feel is the best. As all racers do with all equipment. And I would like to resolve this so I and others who choose O/S can continue to support the business the races and the raceways. I'm asking for is a list so that it can be passed on to Ron so we can iron this out and move on. Nip it in the butt is all.

Remember you said last night coming from a distributor isn't a rule? Or did the Kool-Aid take effect?

So it's Ron's fault the distributor has stuff listed and they don't have it? Maybe you should be mad at the distributors?

And the IRRA® is our business, Jason, one which you are trying to tell us how to run. What's the difference?

I don't drink Kool-Aid, Willy.

I also know business. I do work for a $2 billion company.

Just trying to explain to you how some raceways choose to run their business to minimize their costs and overhead.  I work in the chemical industry where a major portion of the items used everyday are bought by companies through chemical distributors where a company can obtain mutiple items from one source. The major companies partner with distributors so they do not have deal with small orders too as they are set up for larger volume movements.

What do you think McMaster Carr is as an example. They are one of the largest distributors of "stuff" in the country.
