Don't forget the Boola Bash is this coming weekend at Buena Park Raceway with racing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 21-23.

 

Retro Pro will be run on Friday with tech at the usual time of about 6PM.

 

A busy day on Saturday will begin with the long awaited Nascar Enduro with tech inspection at an early 9AM SHARP!.....Be ready! No qualifying as Concours will determine the starting lane choices and we hope to get the race underway no later than 9:30AM. Last year about 3 minutes separated the top 4 teams and it was a GREAT race and everyone expects more of the same this year!

 

We'll have about an hour break after the conclusion of the Enduro for lunch and F1 practice and F1 tech should get underway at about 2:30PM.

 

On Sunday the final event of the weekend will be Can Am and tech will begin at 10AM. All races will be on the King track.

 

CZ, we'll expect some more ZOMBIE participation and words of wisdom to follow.......

  Also as a reminder, please note that for the Enduro on Saturday the lane change procedure will be slightly different than last year. Last year we had a short 1 minute lane change and working on the cars was legal. This year it will still be 1 minute but NO WORKING on the cars. Simply move the car to the correct lane and change the sticker and the race directors will be watching for this.

 

  When servicing the car is necessary, all pit work is to be done on the short straight between the finger and the 90 going under the bridge and all cars will be replaced at the same spot on the track as they were removed. There is more than enough room to pick your car up without interefering with cars on the adjacent lanes as they go by but be careful.

I think I"d like to make a suggestion for the next Friday Retro Pro race.  The guys we WERE waiting for to begin at 6pm are no longer coming to race.  Perhaps we can discuss moving this up to 4pm and getting done a little earlier!! Just a thought--- we can discuss tomorrow night.
