Thanks, Bill.

John, asking Jerry to assist us here with guide depth information and tire selection. Gear will be either a 9-28, or 9-29 like other similar tracks. We are running on the "Hurricane." Thanks.

You'll want an 8 on!! At least I wouldn't be afraid to do a 7 if the grip is there to handle the tork it's only about a 40 ft. straight before a turn.

Hey, Barry.

It's the same track you ran the flexi-Retro race on. The track on the left in this picture. I will be running 9/28 and use .025" braid depth on set-up block.

It's good to see you guys joining us.

I generally like JK treated tires on here for everything I race.

I have yet to try an eight on this track. Just haven't had a necessity to yet.

However the back straight is a long way around on red!

9/28 or 8/26 depending on the motor and how brave you feel going under the hill. Treated tires or soft wonder for the track as it is big and has great bite on race day. Can't wait to hit the track with some real retro.

Doors open at 8 am on Saturday December 3rd. Racing at 10 am.  We use the Tier 1 qualifying format for both races in Mason-Dixon Retro, Qualifying with 6 to the A,  6 to the B, etc, with 2 advancing. Hope to see you there.

I was at the track doing quite a bit of testing my findings are retros or treated tires work well. I haven't tried anything harder. Gear ratio beyond all doubt is 9/28. I tried a 29 and lost way too much.

Bodies I only tested a ti22 NN Parma. I have 2 cars for coupe that had Lola t70's on also felt fine. But again that's in my hand and driving style.

We stated previously that the braid depth was .025 that was inaccurate. I have my car at .030 to accommodate imperfections in braids but I measured black lane in a straight and it measures to be .035

Very excited for this

John, I think we can find you a nice comfy chair. I am sure Andy will offer his for the right price.
And we are hoping for some fast racing with some breaking into the fours if all goes well. Not me but maybe some others. Can't wait fir tomorrow.
If you are local, put a flexi 5 together and come join us for some Friday night nascar to help get ready. Treated rubber, Parma body and a sealed proslot 16D are all ya will need.

Sorry guys, have to cancel my plans to race at the last minute. Had to take my cat to the vet today and it turns out she has an infected paw caused by an abnormal claw growth. Had to cut it open and what not, I have to be around to give her medicine 2x a day for the next 3 days
