On a scary Halloween night, seven rabid competitors showed up to race Vintage NASCAR and ProTrack NASCAR at STR. Track conditions were quite good, in fact, a new record was set in Vintage NASCAR.... Thanks Max,

The ProTrack NASCAR class uses the old ProTrack brass chassis, essentially equivalent to the H&R. We use the old Cheetah, Falcon 2 or Falcon 4. We are now allowing the H&R blue motor. The only one using the blue motor so far is James. I am using a Falcon 2. I know you are running H and R. Below are a couple of images of our set up. Side pans are static and are installed flush with the bottom of the center section of the chassis. The front parts of the side pans were added later. Most of the guys make the side pans in one piece.

PS - The ProTracks are very old images. When some of us ran at a commercial track in Phoenix, AZ, we ran with Deathstar motors.

The Chassis for the Vintage NASCAR class is custom brass/wire. .79 rears and .75 front O-rings. Power is Deathstar or ProSlot 16D sealed
