.

With the JAG-1 series in-line chassis, from JAGHobbies, progressing right along, for T-Jet

style mounting, more good news is coming from Harden Creek Slot Cars...

The Life-Like Concept Super-7 Chassis...    Powered by a can motor, various clips

can be utilized for mounting AFX wide-mount bodies, Tyco pan style bodies and

Life-Like bodies...   There are guide-holes for aluminum posts, for Lexan bodies...

No mention of adjustable wheel bases, though...

Life-Like Super 7 Concept Chassis...    12 minutes...

A great time to be involved in the hobby...

Why not bring back the Lifelike T-Chassis what was wrong with that it was a great chassis, the new Lifelike chassis looks like a cross between a Tomy Turbo chassis and a Tomy Super G chassis

Life Like demonstrates a huge amount of hobby awareness here, by creating a chassis that is aimed squarely at the hobbyist racer without proprietary body mounts and with a built in ability to accept aftermarket components.

As the developer says in the video, these are functions the T-chassis CANNOT give the hobbyist alongside of its relatively mediocre performance when compared against other inline cars on the market.

Good for Life Like to decide to change their approach. It will definitely set them apart moving forward.

Terry Flynn (HC Slots) purchased the Life-Like slot car segment from Walthers sometime late last year...

Have no idea what his intentions are with the Life-Like name...   Keep it?...

Change it?...  Probably easier & cheaper just to keep the name...

Plus, the brand recognition would be high...  FlyKar would be cool...   Maybe  :laugh2:

Not sure if he has *given-up* on the T-Chassis completely...

Maybe just a re-vamp is possible...   ???...

We're all hoping he brings back the M-Chassis, though...  Those were Fun-To-Run

cars...  We ran the Indy bodies in a local series in the 90s..

I could always *spank* a T-Chassis with any MagCar I had in my box...

This new Super 7 chassis will change all that, I believe...  The T-Chassis never

really had any performance aftermarket support...

I'm really excited by the current chassis news in the H.O. field, lately...

From Facebook, Nov 2015...

Karl

Big Brother would rather you run closed can motors.

Open frame brush motors make lots of RF noise. Ever try listening to a baseball game on AM radio and running cars on the track? Well, don't.

They say bad RF can be the ruin of us all , so we must obey. And after all , in this age, you don't want to be the one bad slotracer to lose your RF and make an airliner to crash.
