Found a couple nice pair of wheels today at a local toy show.  Pretty sure the set on the right (chaparral wheels) are made by Dynamic but not sure about the second set.

Can anyone help?

Also, found a nice Hoffman slot car box for $40...Does that seem like a reasonable price?  I really like the way the decals have darkened over time.

...a couple more pix of the box interior.  Seems in pretty good shape for approx. 50 years old.

I believe the others are Revell Cobra wheels.

Did you buy the box with the cars and wheels inside? For the price at least you got the smell of the funk inside the box.

Wow, thanks Bill!

I thought they might be Revell, but was quickly told by a local "expert" that they were Dynamic, which didn't seem right, either.

None of that stuff was included in the $40 price, that was for the box only.

The wheels were found in a cardboard box that was chock full of common wheel sets at the table of a guy who sold mostly static model kits.

Had a fun time going thru that stuff...!

The Hoffman box does have the funky old smell that I really like.

Dynamic Chaparral wheels, exist in two different widths, and Reveal Cobra wheels, exist in 4 different width and another 3 different setups with threads or free wheeling...
It never ends! One one MILLION different parts were produced during slot car's "Classic Era". Some by the hundreds of thousands, EACH.
It will never happen again in America.
