How do I reset or trouble shoot my track mate system.  The Actual Et to Dial In difference display banner is not functioning.

Thanks for any help,

Dan

136 views and not one nibble.  I guess my next move is to hope Trackmate picks up the phone

Sounds like a software problem.  Is there an option to reload?  I like to keep a CD program to run rather than online download a blip.

LOL, yes there are Mike.  But I like to think of Slotblog as communication/solution tool and FB as a communication/drama tool.  So I came here first.  { Not one of the in crowd in Slot Drag Racing so generally my questions get ignored on those FB sites. }  Sorry I guess I shouldn't bothered posting here.

Never said or implied to not post here.

Just giving you an alternative when you didn't have any luck here.

If you have a recent version of the program (disc), there is a troubleshooting section on it. This should have loaded into

your computer when you first loaded the disc. Otherwise, I would try removing the program and re-installing it. Also, for

reasons I do not understand, plugging the interface cable into a different port sometimes makes a difference. That is,

assuming your computer has more than one port. I have not had that problem with my system, but on occasion the

race won't start when the space bar is pressed ( with the cursor on the start button of the screen). Changing to another

port and re-starting the program fixes this. Otherwise, I would contact Dan at the E-mail address, he has been extremely

helpful with all the systems we have used.

Trackmate is FAR from the best when it comes to tech support. In the past I have sent numerous e mails with rare responses. Phone calls were useless with no response ever and when leaving a message I never got a response.

I have had to figure out all problems by myself. In your case the only thing I can think of is to erase the program and reload it with the supplied install disk. That has solved almost all of the problems I have had.

I don't agree that Track-mate has poor tech support. Dan responded when I had a question about program set-up.

The ultimate fix is to un-install the program on your computer and re-install it using the disc. Make sure the disc

is compatable with the operating system you are using, i.e. if you have Windows Vista, be sure the disc says

compatable with Windows Vista.

I tried rebooting the disc, with no luck on that.   I will do it again this week.  I E-Mailed Trackmate when I posted here and have not received a return message.  Next step is to call them.

Sorry the reboot did not work.

Did you ever get a response from TrakMate?

The only way I got a response was to send numerous E mails until someone

finally answered one. Forget the phone or leaving a message. It never worked for me.

Mine still has start up issues but I just live with them.

Did you ever get it going?

No surprise to me that Trakmate never replied.

Keep sending Emails and you may eventually get a response.
