It's a rerun, Sam. Orginally aired in May 2016. There's a previous thread here from when it first aired.

I've never had a chance to see that episode. I'll have to look to see if there is a rerun of the rerun.

I've heard Bernard is a pretty interesting character. Among other things, he was once married to Shelley Duvall.

Original air date was May 4, 2016. Season 15, episode 1: "A Colonel of Truth."

As mentioned in the earlier thread, I was able to watch it online on the History Channel's website but I had to log-in with my cable provider ID to do so.

I used Chrome with uBlock Origin running which blocked 33 requests on the site. The Vid tab worked. Might be pop-ups if you try to use fullscreen.

Bernard is a great guy and a fierce, dedicated collector. He loves cats (got a ton of them) and has concentrated his collecting efforts on the bizarre, unusual and generally European, Japanese and Chinese (Hong Kong).

But he also collects the run of the mill American stuff.

The size of his collection is larger than that of the LASCM's (yes, it's possible! :) ) mostly because he concentrates on home-racing sets and cars, plus prototypes built before or right after WW2 rather than commercial raceways stuff like the LASCM.

In any case, worth a visit to his website HERE.

I know I have posted this before and that few of you ever get down to Texas, but the DFW Elite Toy Museum is quite amazing.........inspite of owner Ron Sturgeon's choice of attire.

If you have AT&T cable, and On Demand, you can get the current year Discovery and History Channel programs.

Just go to the On Demand app and click on "free shows," then scroll through the channel icons until you get
History Channel. Then scroll through the show icons to "American Pickers."

Then scroll through the episodes to "A Colonel of Truth."

Sure doesn't look like Bernard to me, but that might have been 20-25 years before I saw him! I guess we all looked different 45 years ago!
