The Mason-Dixon Retro series headed to Farmingdale, NJ, on Dec. 3 for a GTC and Can-Am Retro event on the tricky Hurricane. Practice was well underway at 8 AM with the GTC event going first at about 10:30 AM. A nice field of 18 prepared to qualify.
Matt Bruce took the pole and a new track record at 5.112. Tier 1 qualifying procedures were used for both events.

The GTC C Main was a battle all the way to the last heat with Max Mohring and Andy Holman advancing.

The GTC B Main main was up next with four-time Mason Dixon champ Randy Kohr taking the win. Max Mohring advanced again with a second place finish.

A nine-man round robin was run for the Can-Am C Main. This was a terrific battle with Kurt Mansfield winning. Charlie Schlottfield nipped Barry for the final transfer.

The Can-Am A Main was just plain "fierce" competition as Matt Bruce went on to win. Dave Demott had a great run to second with Randy Kohr in third. Jerry Herbert ran into to some trouble and had to pull while leading.
