Maybe I'm a little OCD!?
I just wanted to recover some used pinions and play with straightening out some hardware, turned into setting up a library of disassembled dead soldiers...
It started as a simple pinion recovery job...

When I ran open class wing cars, I would bag a motor's brushes with the springs, then use a Sharpie to write on the bag what was inside and what arm was used. I haven't run these motors in 35 years (1981) but I still have most of the bags.
