I'm going to revive this series. Life has gotten in the way a little but lets see how it goes.

Feeling a little nostalgic around the Holidays and I went back and looked at these posts for the first time in a while. Sad to see many great people who responded are gone and one was even banned.

Anyway, many items from my stash are being sold, with many going to the museum.

I am trying to hold on to as many of the hand crafted items I can, selling the production pieces first.

For those who don't know who John Harris is please go back to the beginning of this set.

Today, here are a couple bodies that had no chassis when I got them. Some being posted have never been mounted. I would appreciate if anybody can ID the car and maker.

The guy I got them from did not do a great job of storing these. I've only lightly cleaned them with some warm soap and water.

Body #1. Notice Pittman Powered decals, pipes are made of wood!

Body #4 Is this a Novi. I might just have to build this with twin 196's

Joe, isn't the bottom one the Indy Porsche Porsche with the dual engines, one in front and one in back?

Tony, I have no idea. I tried a Google search with no good results.

Will have to see if that cranky old guy chimes in  :laugh2:

I'm not that cranky old guy, :laugh2:, but I believe Tony is correct. That is, the last two photos are the Lancer double engine Indy Porsche. These have shown up on eBay in the past, but not recently. Larry Shephard built up the first one I ever saw.

That is the double engine Porsche. I have a new clear one of those bodies.
