Just picked up this body at a local antique shop. Does anyone know who made it? Is it a modern or vintage body?

Decals are yellowed and flaking; tape inside body is yellowed.

It will be a nice project body for an old Dynamic chassis that I have, I was hoping it might be an old Dynamic handling body so that it would be a "match" for my chassis.

I believe that is a JK Porsche 917 therefore more modern than vintage.

Very much appreciate the info. I thought it was more modern, just didn't feel right to be a vintage body. Didn't cost me but a couple bucks. I'll just sit it aside and wait for something better/vintage.

get a red fox body.  the shape is closer to the real thing & cost less.

Agreed.

The various Red Fox 917's are very nice.

Jerry (ex-JK) Kulich is sweating it out until the statue of limitations runs out, where he can no longer be arrested for marketing his 917. LOL

Really, really best way to tell if it's a JK, find an old Parma Alpine Renault. I did that mold for Parma and was stunned to see that 'Jerry' (might have been someone for him) 'popped it' and made the 917.

My comment was that he should be arrested for poor taste.

IMO, it's so misshapen, the concept someone would backpour it, is liken to somebody stealing the styling of a Pontiac Aztec.
