Better late than never!..... and being Christmas Eve we had a very light turnout last weekend but we still cobbled together a race. No tech, no qualifying and racers were allowed to run several cars if they wanted as it was kind of a big "run what you brung" Retro practice session with results!
And the results were....
Sam Rackham 340.45 laps
Bill Vanderziel 331.25
Mill Conroy 331
Bryan Warmack 327
Mike Reese 315.33
Marc Franco 303.38
Tim Wilkins 300.04
Henry Trujillo 277.55
Duran Trujillo 87
Sam won going away and one of his cars was a new Trujillo chassis that was just ballistic and Sam clocked a 3.91 fastest lap with it and put it away. Duran also had a new car that was great right out of the box and Duran ran 2 heats and promptly put his car away!.....
A close race for 2nd between Bill and Mill with Bill just ahead at the finish. Great run by Retro newcomer Mike Reese and a very interesting and fun little test session for everyone as the Checkpoint approaches!

The next SCRRA race will be the last monthly race before the Checkpoint and will be in 2 weeks on January 14. A slightly different schedule as we'll run Can Am and Coupes together on the Flat track in the morning and then run Can Am on the King track after lunch. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and the SCRRA wishes everyone a very Happy New Years!
