After a highly successful and competitive Retro event on Dec. 4, the Mason Dixon Retro Series will return to The Race Place in Farmingdale, NJ, for a GTC and Can-Am Retro event on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017. 

 

This race will be designated as a Race Place Retro Championship event (more details soon).  

 

Doors open - 8 AM

Practice - 8 AM to 10 AM

GTC tech - 10 AM

GTC race - 10:15 AM

Can-Am race - 45 minutes following GTC race

 

Entries - $10 per race, plus $10 pit pass.

 

Racing will be held on The Race Place Hurricane track.

 

Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

 While having a discussion with the "Government" we were talking about how we each bought at least 5 of these 7R motors. Even with our vast knowledge

none of us could get them to run as well as our old motors. What to do.

 So I said Ill bet a lot of other people have the same problem , a box full of slow motors.

 

I made the suggestion of just for this race . For the GTC race only everyone must run a 7R7R7R7R.

 

So what do you think?  Post something here or see me at Speedzone at the Retro East race.

 

WE will make a decision depending on the response , so let us know.

I know I don't run in your series, but in testing for the ORS race on my king my fastest cars have 7R motors.

We have seen winners in our (RE)  last couple of races also use 7Rs.

 Ok guys, practice starts this Saturday Feb. 4th at 8am.  Coupes and Can Am at the Race Place. Racing starts at 10 am ,  IRRA rules in place for this event.  No restrictions on Coupe event as listed elsewhere in this thread. See you Saturday !
